Child and Family Specialist Health Antenatal Visits
It is often women who have had complications or problems during previous births of
a first child who opt for this kind of service. During these visits you’ll have the
opportunity to discuss, open up about your feelings, build a relationship with your
health visitor.
You may want to talk about specific worries you have relating to having a baby, the
transition period, what to expect, talk about feeding plans. It will give us the
opportunity to ascertain your level of support and to help signpost you to children
and well being activities in the local community should you wish for this, before your
baby arrives.
These sessions are flexible and you may just require one session, or maybe you’ll need
three sessions dependent on your health needs.
